Ferðafélag Íslands is a national association that was founded in 1927 with the goal to facilitate, promote and organize travelling within Iceland. The association brings together hiking and nature enthusiasts and allows them to experience Iceland in a group of like-minded people guided by locals. While not a travel agency it serves both members and non-members.
